    Hi guys,

as the topic-title states I would like to know if it is intended that the Cyberlink direct-show video- (MpgMux.ax) and audio- (CLDump.ax) filters are installed with the MediaPortal application without any option to chose like it is implemented for MPV and dscaler.

I've recently re-installed XP SP2 + all the patches and then mediaportal as the first real application un-checking MPA and dscaler during the installation.
(no tv-card software, no imon software etc.)
Opening configuration.exe I've seen that the 2 filters above already installed... same question... where the came from ? :)
No problem at all for me, just curious.

    Cheers,
    Daniele

I am curious because I don't understand how a free opensource software like MediaPortal can contain this filter ? Could a developer or somebody who has a deeper understanding in this materia please explain this to me ?
