I have windows xp and also Home server and I am wondering if it is possible to make a custom build of the operating system by using Nlite to incorporate this into it.

I used to also use opensuse but I could never get my HVR-1600 tv card to work which is why I am trying this and wanting to use my home server instead

I don't see why you couldn't. You could nlite all the components into your XP install, then once those are done in order, you could do the install. Or, you could tell your install to bring that file up once windows is installed. You could even integrate patches and drivers for your htpc components, so you don't have to mess with it if you format often.
