Please Help.

I have a Terratec TV 400 & Hauppauge 150 MCE LP

BUT.........when i use my Haupauge 150 in my machine, i have noise on some of my channels............and if i change to the Terratec i have no difficulties at all.

Driver and all is installed, but Mediaportal can't find the card!?!? Why.

Is it bacause I first had the Hauppuage card in OR

Is the card not supported?!?!

I know about the software-based cards and that there are not supported, but I i'm quite sure that it is Hardware-based.

Pleeeeease help me. My terratec card is the best card i've ever had.........the Hauppauge failed me big time:-(

You need lastest driver for cinergy 400 and PVR150, need mediaportal 2.0 Rc2 with lastest CVS on, and need intervideo encoder software (Intervideo DVR3 ).
I have terratec Cinergy 400 + hauppauge PVR150 and works togheter very very fine. :wink:
I use PVR like first card to view and record, and terratec only for record (and view when pvr is busy with a record)

With the new version 0.2.0.0 RC3 i can add the card under configuration, but when i add, I get an error message

"cannot create graph for this device" 2 times.

I have the same card.. and the same problem.. i cannot start tv inside MP, and in the steup menu I get the "unable to create graph for this device" message..
the card worked just fine with MP 0.1.3
pleace help.

It's a software encoding card.
As per the news items in the past we now only support software cards when they have MPEG-2 Encoders that we can use.

You'll need to get either a CyberLink or Intervideo MPEG-2 Encoders.

Hence this in the log...

I reinstalled both Cyberlink PowerDVD and Intervideo WINDVR yesterday, but still have the same problem.

Can i somehow test the encoder or is this a bug!?!?

msj33 , the Cinergy 400 , as all software encoder card are now not supported. If I have well understood , only your pvr 150 is now supported.

I reinstalled both Cyberlink PowerDVD and Intervideo WINDVR yesterday, but still have the same problem.

Can i somehow test the encoder or is this a bug!?!?

Cyberlink Power DVD provides decoders

As for InterVideo is that WinDVD or WindDVR 3.
If WinDVD then again it provides decoders however WinDVR 3 should provide the necessary encoders

If you still have a problem after using WinDVR 3 then post your logs.

Cinergy 400 PCI support

I cannot view the card inside the steup menu, is not support?
I see in old post another way to have cinergy 400 support is to follow this instructions : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=12846 ,but link don't work. I need help.

CPU Type: Intel 1.7 Ghz
Memory: 512 MB
PC: Desktop Compaq D500
Video Card: ATI 7000 64MB
TV Card: Terratec Cinergy 400 PCI
MediaPortal version: 0.2.2
