Is there a way to search the the guide?

I've got MP set up and it's working great with Fios and my colossus. I can watch TV, all my videos, IR blaster and remote work great. But it would be nice if I could search the guide. If it's possible, I haven't been able to figure out how.

I often know what I want to watch ahead of time, but I don't know what channel it's on.

Nice! I didn't see that there. I can probably work with that. Is there any way to do that from the guide menu? Or is the only way to back out to the TV section?

Wbunaarf I didn't see your reply. Is that something I can do? It would be great to be able to get there from the guide. It would be awesome if there was a way I could use one of the colored buttons on the Hauppauge remote to pull it up.

Currently you need to back out, yes.

Have a look in configuration under remote. I have never messed with those settings, so I really haven't got a clue, but 'SearchTV' is available as an action (under 'Window'). Have a look in the wiki for more information.
