Is there an attribute like a text box? (1 Viewer)

I am trying to figure out if there is some sort of skin control attribute that is like a text box that the user can enter text into. I want the user to be able to enter some text and then the plugin with use the entered text for something. Anyone know if this is possible?

The virtual keyboard class does this. But you cannot use it from within a skin, but you can use it from within a plugin. There's not more at the moment.

What I really need to be able to do is capture some keyboard input. This may be more of a C# dev question rather than MP dev, but does anyone know how I can capture keyboard input from within a plugin?
