Hi Is it possible, to let the audio go to the TV, when looking at Movies, DVDs recordings and Live TV, AND have another connection for music, so it will go to my Hifi amplifier?

Right now my audio is going from the onboard audiocard to the TV, via a minijack.

I know that I have S/PDIF out on the mainboard, and the amplifier can accept this, BUT where can I tell MediaPortal to use this for music?

Thanks
Steen

Hi, i use a y-cable to split one stereo source into 2 for this. I can then just choose which to play the audio i.e mute the tv sound and turn on the stereo or turn off stereo and un-mute the tv. You can find these cable at any electronics type stores.

Cheers
