Of course I could try before asking, but I don't want to mess things up.

I want to follow SVN (since I really want to beta test plus I want to see and help and propose on the new features as they take form) but my 0.2.0.4 seems fine.

I cannot (and do not want) to have a different partition to have a different MP.

Do you think it will work if I make a batch file doing the following?

- Rename MP folder to let say MPx
- Rename MPy (the second MP installation) to MP
- run start.bat in MP
- run MP in MP folder (maybe)

In other words whenever I execute the batch file to "switch" between two MP installations? (one being 0204 and the other being latest SVN)

Will it work as expected you think?

Sure that'll work. you may have as many mp directories on your hd as you like.
