Is TVEngine3 the only way to be able record from standby or Hibernate (1 Viewer)

Hi.

I am wondering if installing TVEngine3 is the only way that I can have MediaPortal record from a standby or hibernated state?

I would like to be able to have the computer in a standby or hibernated state and be able to wake up and record any programs that I have set it up to record.

If TVEngine3 is the only way is it stable?

works also TVE2

No, I moved to TVE3 now, but I've used TVE2 all last winter to record TV waking up from hibernate (or standby) with no problems at all !
There's a plugin called power schedule that does the job for you

Okay. I thought that power schedule only worked with TVE3, I must have miss read it.

How have you found TVE3?
