Hello,
I'm about to install a client at the first floor in my house and I'm wondering if wifi-n is powerful enough for this MePo client to read HD videos (blu-ray rip, 1080p and 720p, TV HD) from the server which is one floor below.
I would like to avoid RJ45 cables in all the house :)
I'have also seen some CPL (PCL) options but I don't know if it be interesting or not.

Any advices are welcome.
Thanks

I tried it, but it was just too unreliable. I have too many sources of interference around my house. Now use Ethernet Over Power (EOP/Homeplugs) network units and get a steady 100Mbs and HD plays fine. This is OK as long as you have power sockets in the room you are using your client in.

CPL tested and CPL approved !
Even in my "old" house !
I have bought the netgear XAVB5501 (500Mbps) and I can stream HD content (TV and video) successfully.
