You might have to consider posting slightly more info if you are expecting to even get a reply to your thread..

Have a look at this thread. Especially the part: "how to start a support thread".

I agree about the missing info, yet I believe that the installation shouldn't require a rocket science degree...

Anyway, here are the details:

TV-Server Version: 3.0 (Build 01-18-2008--05-08h--Rev17086)
MediaPortal Version: 0.2.3.0
MediaPortal Skin:
Windows Version: Windows XP Media Center 2002 (SP2)
CPU Type: Intel Pentium-D 2.8ghz
HDD: 250gb
Memory: 2gb
Video Card: Nvidia 6600
Video Card Driver: Forceware 169.21
1. TV Card: FloppyDTV
1. TV Card Type: DVB-S2
2. TV Card:
2. TV Card Type: DVB-T

Hope this helps to sort it out. Thanks

Sometimes when the TVserver plugin is first installed the MYTV is placed in the MYPlugins in the MP GUI.

Run MPconfig and open plugins, check the MYTV and ensure it is config correctly.

You did follow the instructions, per here?

Btw: TVE3 is at a beta stage. Installing will probably be easier later on. (Although if you follow the instructions above, it really isn't that difficult - time consuming, yes, but not difficult).

Btw: Please consider changing topic - better chance of getting support by describing problem accurately in topic

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

Just those I attached. I messed about with task priorities MP/TV-Server/SQL-Server and the issue changed to the skin.. I would do something, but it would be 10's of seconds before the action happened. Doing an Alt-Tab would flush the actions. Too weird lol!! So, with some flak from the family, I had to give in. I just did a...

MP1 MP2 No TV Service DE
Looking at recent activity on the web site, it has been 4 weeks since any of the MP2 developers have been active. They may be taking a short (or an extended) break. For this reason I would suggest that you uninstall MP2 and re-install MP1. The 1.33 version is recommended (in either the 32-bit or 64-bit version). Also, it is pretty...
