ITV HD subtitles (1 Viewer)

Is there any way of enabling the subtitles on the ITV HD channel? They are billed as being there and BBC HD shows them but ITV HD does not. I'm guessing it is something to do with the way ITV HD is normally selected on Set Top Boxes (pressing red button?) whereas MP is able to map it directly but without subtitles it is pretty useless to me.

(I tried searching but it won't let me seach for "ITV")

ITV HD is an absolute joke. By being a 'Red Button' stream ITV have got around the PBS obligation of subtitles on all programs. It might be worth contacting ITV asking them when they expect to add subtitles to ITV HD.

According to Digiguide there are subtitles available for most programmes on ITV HD but they're not visible in any program I've used.

Good idea, I'll contact ITV and report back if I get a sensible answer
