Anyone knows anything about this? I've got it several times on Vista x86, Vista x64 and Win7x64. My tuner is a TerraTec Cinergy S2 HD PCI. I use the driver version 1.1.0.601 because the newer ones won't find all my channels on channel searches. When i google it, i see people with Twinhan tuners have similar problems...

God, i hate my tuner, but i don't know what's a good replacement. Maybe Hauppauge NOVA-S2 PCI?

But maybe someone has an idea
    You don't specify:
    • what OS you're using
    • whether the OS is 32 or 64 bit
    • how much RAM you have (yes, that can make a difference)
    • what tuner you have (MtsBda.sys can be used for TerraTec Cinergy C HD PCI, TerraTec Cinergy S2 HD PCI, TechniSat SkyStar HD2, TechniSat CableStar HD2, Twinhan/AzureWave/VisionPlus AD-SP400, Twinhan/AzureWave/VisionPlus AD-CP400... + other clones)
    • what driver you're using (in some cases it is possible to use TerraTec drivers for TechniSat hardware, and vice versa)
    • what driver version you're using
In short I don't know how anybody could have any idea.
I won't make any further reply to this thread.

Some years ago I had also trouble with BSODs. The troublemaker was also mtsbda.sys.
I had a techsat and a terratec tuner in the same server.
Windows showed me that the terratec tuner used parts of the technisat driver. After a reinstall of the terratec tuner everithing was fine.
Than the technisat used the terratec driver, but this seemed not be a problem. Vice versa it was.
Perhaps this helps solving your issue.
