Since i switched to Windows 7 64bit i am having issues with jitter during live TV and videos.
With Vista 32bit and the same codecs and hardware it didn't happen.
After some research i found out:
- mainly on SD channel / video files (German TV -> 50Hz)
- "only" with DXVA enabled video codecs (not 100% sure), tried MPEG2 codecs like: Cyberlink, Mainconept, MPC-HC
- jitter in a frequence of around 2-3 min with 15-30ms
- no dropped frames
Especially with video files recorded as TS stream from SD channel with VDR it is the same thing like with live TV.
Even more an issue when trying to skip time steps -> Sometimes Video/Audio is long way out of sync (after time skip took place) that it takes nearly a minute to get sync back (video picture stops and audio continues AND other way around).
For such video files i use MPC-HC mpegsplitter.ax SVN 1802.
With the later revisions of mpegsplitter it is even worth (like with revisions above 2400). Also tried Haali -> the worst splitter on this planet (also with the old Vista).
Any idea?
