To improve the usability of MP, the music section should use numpad buttons for title selecting.

Hi,
i miss the possibility to direct jump in music section. Maybe when i'm in album folder or playlist, enter on the remote 2 1 to jump on file number 21. So Mediaportal woks more like a CD-Player.

Just a question to the developers:
Is this function planned to be integrate in future versions of MP?

When browsing music the number buttons are already linked to an SMS style jump to function. so when browsing a list of artists if you press 2 twice it will take you to {b} and if you press 8 twice it will take you to {u}

In now playing the number buttons set rating (0-5 anyway)

So I don't think we will introduce this as it then means rework of those features

Yes, i know about this feature, but why not define an action to toggle the input to number navigation. Because with this it should be possible to leave the tv off to listen to music.
