Jumping to a spot of the Video by entering the time? (1 Viewer)

I just noticed in v1.2 (maybe it was there all the time), when I'm watching a video and press some digits the progess bar appears and shows the number. It looks like I'm entering the time. What does the feature do? Can I jump to a certain spot? I tried some key combinations, no reactions shown :-(
