Just run Moving Pictures in MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

So I have an older computer and Moving pictures is slow on it (not horrible but slow)...All I use Mediaportal for is Moving Pictures (ive tried xbmc and others but this is the best!).

Anyways im wondering if I can "trim the fat" from Mediaportal in anyway? I was thinking of just ripping a bunch of stuff out of the svn and trying to build it but that would probably take forever with all the dependencies and such. Wondering if anyone had any thoughts?

There is a known issue in RC1 that makes Moving Pictures slow: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/moving-pictures-284/scrolling-77842/

.. and which will be included in RC2 when it is released.
