Message: <blockquote data-quote="dcwp" data-source="post: 293154" data-attributes="member: 25562">I was thinking about this too.  I think the best is to get proper karaoke files without the vocal track.  But you could approximate it by cutting the midrange levels so the vocals are reduced.  As far as I know there is no equalizer adjustment within MP.  But if someone were to set one up you could set a "Karaoke mode" that did this and switch between them.  Of course I'm completely useless for coding after BASIC ca 1994 so I have no idea how realistic this is.  Just my $0.02</blockquote>
