I bought a Mystique DVB-S SX (Identic to KNC1 DVB-S TV station) model to supplement my floppydtvS2 card.
My problem is that I get low signal readings, level 30-40% and Quality 60-70%. Naturally I have severe tearing and no picture at all. My floppydtvS2 have 86/86 for level and quality and no tearing. So I should be able to rule out any cable/disec/lnb thing. But I have tried without disec to, same result.
Tried different drivers from: Mystique 2.0.1016.0 XP/Vista
and KNC1 2.1.202.0 XP/Vista
No change.
Verified the readings in Progdvb, as i thought that they were incorrect in Mediaportal. Alas they were not, they were the same.
Bought a Tevii S464 as i thought this card was broken. Works well, but signal level/quality is not as good as the floppydtvS2 card, around 60/80.
So my questions is, has anyone had similar experiences with these cards as I have?
