Hi I got the kworld 310u atsc usb tv tuner, plugged it in and installed driver and software that came with the cd. It uses bda and the application is total media 3. I hooked up the antenna and went through the config, everything worked. I see about 17 channels.
The I downloaded and installed Media Portal 0.2.2.0 and when I go to the configuration, at the step where it needs to scan for channels, it exit the program and then you see microsoft "send error" dialog box. then i installed the svn 4/23 and trid configuring again. got the same result.

attached is the mediaportal.log, error.log and exception log.
