I bought this FusionHDTV RT 5 Gold card to replace the montly cost and to have usability of a computer instead of using the
HD Scientific Atlanta CAble Box - Time Warner Cable Austin Tx

After spending so much time trying to get this FusionHDTV RT 5 gold card to work with Media Portal and other 3rd party, I guess im going back to the box for simplicity.
I could never get the Fusion card tuner to work with Media Portal and Beyond TV was nice but, didn't support HD Channels.
Is it because cable company is not supplying their QAM128 info?

I really like Media Portal..

The software that came with the card sux. It can tune everything but I can't get any kind of real time TV guide to work and support is crap.)
Divco advertises that it works with MediaPortal. I asked - how so and couldn't get an answear from support about the Marketing Claim.


Thought that after so many years, it wouldn't have been so hard to get HD Cable working on the PC.

Is this just me? Anyone with the same setup?

Any advise / suggestions?

I assume this is an ATSC card is it not? From what I understand that format is still a work in progress and while some have reported some success it still not officially supported as I understand.
