One of the advantages of last.fm is that a song can have multiple tags, not only one genre.
So "Dido" or a track by Dido might have tags like "pop" "female vocalist" "00s" "ballad" and more.
So my thought is:
If we could store the (let´s say) most popular 15 tags for a track or artist for all the songs on your harddisk, this would enable a
personal tag feature for your local music collection.
With this feature you could easily play songs from "70s", "trash metal" "gothic rock" or whatever from your local music collection.
This would probably need a database extension.
A batch scan from the setup app would be nice.
And integration in the Music share watcher.
Of course it would be an optional feature.
Anyone interested?
