Hi all!

I wonder if it's possible to launch my music playlist (or some videos) on MP startup?

I tried "autostart plugin" but it doesn't launch bassplayer or the video player...This plugin only opens the directory folder... it's not very useful... Or maybe I miss someething (need help if it's the case)

I'm a bit suprised that this feature is not present on MP.

Program like Gameex (HTPC et Emulator front end) have this kind of features...

example of Gameex features:
Jukebox startup menu:
- automatically plays plusic
- Wait for track selection
- Load playlist (choose created playlist)
- Start automatically now playing (yes/no)
- shuffle playlist: yes/no

Mame and video audio mode:
- play playlist and run video or mame with no sound
- pause playlist and run video or mame with sound
- resume playlist when video stop...

I didn't find any relevant posts on the forum for those features...
Maybe it's possible to use command line for bass player?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm not aware of any way to do this at the moment, but it should be fairly easy to add...

I'll take a look at the autostart plugin and see if a simple change will improve it.

    Cheers,

    Thanks and-81!

Let me know if u see any solution...

I will also look into the bass player forum to see if it's already implemented in the program.

    Cheers:D

I'll make something to launch a file on startup...

I'll post it here later today, or maybe tomorrow.

    cheers,

Any news? I am also quite interested in a decent autostart solution. Quite frankly I don't understand why mediaportal doesn't come with one right away.
