Hi,
is there anybody with working MP 0.2.2.0 and analogue tuner Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP together ? I tried different codecs (Leadtek, CyberLink, MP, InterVideo), but quality is too bad.
Thanks
I have the same situation Maybe somebody can fix this problem...
I have now installed the PVR application and I can now see TV...
However the TV seems to be dropping frames and the audio is out of sync. Additionally MP is very slow and extremely unresponsive to any commands when running the TV.
When I open MP configuration my TV-card don't have correct graph
The "unable create graph" message in MP setup TV-card edit section depends on the codecs choosen in the MP setup Television section. Sometimes I don't obtain this error (with Leadtek codec and Cyberlink, I think). But the result is horrible in both situations (error / no error).
Maybe I will try fresh installation on Saturday.
Have any of you tried to make a graph (using GraphEdit) with this card. The CaptureCardDefinitions entry, for this card, may need tweaking.
When you use this card with the native software, open GraphEdit and connect to a remote graph. If you can connect to the cards graph, take a screenshot of it. You want MP to duplicate this graph, so the info in the CaptureCardDefinitions file needs to represent the good graph (filter names & pin numbers).
That card only a software encoder card. MP supports that but you will never see a good picture in MP. Buy a hardware encode card.
(I have a sw and a hw tv card from Leadtek)
I own this card and gave up a long time ago to use it with MP due to the sheer amount of hassle involved.
Since the new TVEngine doesn't support software cards (yet, if at all), you're better off to invest in a hardware encoder card and safe yourself a lot of grief.
In this case I think about writing a plugin for MP that can capture from device... It's easy for normal C# application, but I don't have any idea how write this for MP I see that is only chanse to watch TV Now I reading articles how plugin shoould looks like... If anybody have better idea - pleas conntact me
I must say that Skystar 2 is a software card and it have a very good picture in MP
How does the Timezone flag work? What input is it looking for? I went through the source code and all I saw was "America/New_York." I tried "America/Chicago" but still getting GMT times in the xmltv.xml file.
Edit: Got this figured out. In the XmlTv plugin, you need to select "Apply timezone compensation when loading tvguide.xml" and...

I compliment you on the thoroughness of your investigations. (y)
Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas what the problem might be. :(
Perhaps someone else will post with some suggestions.

Ok, thanks much. I will look into the instructions above. For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos. Works, so far.

I have to revisit an old issue, unfortunately. I just downloaded MP 2.5, a fresh installation, on a new computer (reluctantly...
Sorry, it's my fault -- I did not notice that you are using MP2. :(
MP1 has a separate configuration utility, similar to "TV Server Config". I have tried MP2 only a couple of times, and have never used it seriously. I don't know what MP2 supports with regard to adjusting audio delay, but I do know that all of the adjustments of...

Hi
This is a general question about OnX.
I have been using the TvWishList plugin for a while and have recently updated (update install) from MP 1.36 x86 to 1.37 x86 and found there seemed to be no Onx menu in the TV guide. I then configured the onx.presets.xml file like I would normally do with updates or fresh installs, but still...
