Ok, bit new to this (less than an hour of MP experience!) I've got the reomte working with the UICE, all the buttons are mapped, except i cant get the left/right and back functions to work!

How do i map the left/right functions? because left & right on my remote control are also the vol up/down keys?

Also, i cant get the back button to work, i have to right click the mouse every time!

Is there a way to "double-map" the keys? so "left" and "vol -" can both be used in the same instance?

Can anyone help? (I'm way over my head)

:(

Update: I've sorted it out slightly now. Got the Coolcommand remote working (WinFast TV 2000XP RM) I've had to sacrifice the VOL+/- keys and use the directional left/right actions in UICE instead. So i mapped the VOL+/- control to the number keys 1 and 2 on the remote.

Now all the functions are working perfectly, including the "C" button to the left of the directional pad, which is used to back out of menus/selected OSD, and the fullscreen key has been mapped too!

All in all, Media Portal s turning out to be a fantastic find indeed! 8) :D

I havn't got the card working yet, sorry for any confusion. MP sees the card, but i'm just having tuning problems - within MP i can view static, i just need to configure the Winfast PVR software and save the settings (as MP seems to just look the settings up and patch them into it's own software).

I actually managed to get it working this afternoon by editing the capturecard xml file to have the same settings that were coming up in the error log.

I think I just need to get a new gfx card for the machine tho, because the video is laggy and out of sync, and takes ages to change channels.
