Summary:
Let's use that database!
Description:
Let's think about these possibilties. For example, we could make MP 'user-aware',
a number of settings are merely user preferences and could be stored in the database. There could me a set of favourites (music albums, dvd-s, tv- and radio channels) all on a per user basis.
So we could think along two lines:
- 'normalizing' existing functionality on a per-user basis.
- add functionality dependent (on a per user basis) on the availability of a database.
