Letters with remote (1 Viewer)

I have ripped DVD movies in my hard disk. MP can handle these OK.
I can switch subtitles on/off with my keyboard, key L.
How can I do the same thing with Microsoft MCE remote?

Problem solved.
I have MS MCE remote rev.2 with colour buttons.

Yellow button switches subtitle stream on and changes it if necessary.
