Hi all,

After some weeks of discontinuos tests :p ... it remains one problem only with that TV adapter (it's a 3in1 BDA TV tuner: DVB-S, DVB-T and Analog):

In MP configuration is possible to see all 3 tuners, but after selecting and adding one of the BDA DVB tuners, the other DVB disappear from the list of available tuner !
Analog TV can always be added, and it doesn't interfere with DVB-T or S.

So, it's not possible to have both DVB-T and DVB-S together, but only one of them with analog TV.

TV Server can see and install all tree tuners, but I had with it many other problems ... radio ... frequency range ... etc..

Please developers .. don't forget Flydvb Trio users !!! :D

Bye

Hi,
I'm interested to buy this great card... Have you solved your problems with MP (no tv-server)? It's really a great card?

Thanks a lot,
Dado

Problems not solved,

with MP you can't install all three tuners together, but the analog and one of dvb-t or dvb-s.

IF you wants MP, you need a fast cpu ...I think a P4 3 Ghz or equivalent CPU, for analog TV expecially (it's software encoding), and also if you view only TV (without record or timeshift).

Analog video quality seems good, but I didn't made a comparison with other tuners. DVB quality is perfect, because it's digital !

The remote can't be used with MP, but only with the bundled tv software (that is moreover really BAD compared to MP or other frontends).
If you need a remote, you have to buy a standalone MCE remote.

I didnt' tested DVB-S within MP ... for now ...

I think this is not the right card for MP ... as you read there are some problems.

If you need 3 tuners would be better to buy a supported hybrid card with dvb-t/analog (with hardware encoding !!!), and a supported dvb-s card. It may cost a bit more ... but it should work at 100%.

Watch at jepssen.it, they have some other interesting Trio Tuners.

Bye.
