Now have I fund away to get it to work, not perfekt but work...
I did the following...
uninstalled MP
Downloaded the following:
Mediaportal (newest official)
Mediaportal SVNBuild
TVEngine3
Intervideo mpeg encoder - another encoder may also work.
Install MP, do not set configuration!
Install MP SVN Build
Install TVEngine3 - install both msi files...
Install a MPEG ENCODER NOT DECODER - I installed intervideo - 30days....
Ok - now theck that you have removed your card under television in the MP config screen.
And look under plugin, an be sure to check mytv (rightclick an check listed in home.)
now go into mp server part, and setup yourchannels....
if you are unable to search, your MPEG encoder, may not work... replace it with another...

The only configuration that is certain to work is when the MP client and MP server are from the same release.
