Listening to BBC Radio Streams Outside UK in MP (1 Viewer)

What steps would I need to take to be able to listen to BBC Radio Internet Streams inside MP - to make it more complex, I'm not in the UK!

BBC streams only in RealMedia format, so you would need either ReaPlayer or Alternative installed.

Where do I add the .ram link and how do I get around the fact that it seems to look for a UK IP address!!

If you got to the above site, can you access say Radio 2 or not, as thought this was available worldwide, if only through Realplayer itself.

Streaming radio is not my forte, so you'll have to wait for someone more knowledgeable on the .ram link, not sure this can be played inside MP, without setting Realplayer as replacement for the internal player.

Yes - when going to the website, I can select the radio stations and they play in RealAlternative and even in MPClassic, however I cannot get them to play in Media Player.

I don't want to set RealPlayer as the main player for Media Portal - any ideas anyone?

Tried these but unfortunately as I'm not located in the UK, only the RealPlayer (.ram) links work.

Can anyone help here? Basically only the .ram links work outside the UK - I can't seem to find a plug-in that plays Real Media streams - is there any other way to handle this?

Which stations would you like?
Try this one for Radio 2:
mms://wmlive-acl.bbc.co.uk/wms/radio2/radio2_nb_e1s1

Change the radio2 for radio1 in both places for radio 1...
Radio 3 and 4 should work to

Thx Spud, but those links also don't work for me (prob because I'm outside the UK). I get the following error when launching them : "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network error occurred. The server might not be available. Verify that you are connected to the network and that your proxy settings are correct."
