[no Bug] Live TV Crash after 1 second! (1 Viewer)

I installed 1.2 beta yesterday and all appeared to be working fine... however today live tv has stopped without me installing anything new as far as I can tell! If I go into the tv guide and try to play any channel, I get about 1 second of moving picture and audio, then it freezes and half of the time MP crashes with it.

If I preview a channel in the tv server config it seems to work ok, so its just in the client itself I think. Logs attached, it is closing the ts stream.

I am using DJBlu's sky epg edition of the tv server, so also posted to him incase this is caused by either his plugin or my installation/config of it and not due to mediaportal.

Please let me know if there is anything i can/should try, or if you need any further information.

update... if I record TV, the recording seems to work, and I can watch the recording ok... not sure if that helps or not!

For us to look at this you need to reproduce the issue without MDAPI

You also need to try with the default skin.

I tried the new 'backdrop' skin a couple of days ago. When I used this skin, every time I tried to turn on TV, the picture froze after a couple of seconds. Switched back to default skin, and everything worked again. I have no idea what else was installed with the skin to cause this, and have not yet have time to check.

thanks - I think this is actually skin related - I just went back to the defaultwide and it works, and also tried maya and it works, so it seems to be CLR. I will report to cul8r.

And backdrop is a skin from cul8r ! If he needs help tracking this down, I am happy to do more testing. It isn't just you.

I too am having the same issue. I have tried with two of cul8r's new releases and having the issue. Plays for a second then freezes. Its turning the TV service on and off.


Edit*****Never mind I changed the Video card from pause to Stop and that fixed it.

This was due to a missing id in the skin files. Is now corrected in both skins.
