I would like to add on what I said in my previous post. All the tests I did was on a new install of Windows 7 and not on the one I had the problem at the beginning. So, when I thought I had found the solution (corrupted MediaPortal 1.4.0 installation file), I went back to my original Windows 7/MediaPortal 1.4.0 installation, did a "Full MediaPortal Products cleanup" and installed MediaPortal 1.5.0. Fail... Back to square one. Live TV is not working. Re-did a "Full MediaPortal Products cleanup" and installed MediaPortal 1.3.0. Hurray! Live TV is working again. I could then upgrade to 1.5.0 and Live TV still works. It seems that as long as version 1.3.0 was installed, even though I uninstalled it using the "Full MediaPortal Products cleanup" option, subsequent installation of MediaPortal (be it 1.4.0 or 1.5.0) leads to Live TV working. Hoping this helps.
