When entering live tv, i have good video and sound for 5-10 seconds. Then the video stutters and the audio disappears. After that i have no audio and video stutters. If i return to the menu and back to live tv the same thing happens again.

I've tried switching audio renderer (worked in meedio) but the problems comes after 20-30 seconds max anyway.

I don't have this problem with the Hauppage software or Meedio.

Any ideas?

I installed the tvengine3 and with this it works fine. But this breaks some other stuff like the Mepo theme. So guess i'll just wait for it all to come together and hope it works then. But at least this confirms that there is something wrong with the latest svn regarding my setup with Hauppage.

Same problem for me,

FLyDBV Trio adapter
Mediaportal 2.0 with last SVN build.
P4 2.4 Ghz
Sis 645DX motherboard chipset
onboard ac97 audio
Geforce 6200 AGP
XP Home sp2

I have the problem with Analog channels only: selecting these channels CPU Usage goes to 100% and I see stuttering video an audio ... after some seconds audio goes OFF completely.
Timeshifting is OFF. Recording OFF too !

Same problem using the mediaportal configuration software - MyTV - tv adapters - Analog tv adapter - channel auto scan panel:
when selecting one of the detected channels, on the preview window I can see the video, but with the same stuttering and audio problem (CPU at 100%).

No problems with DVB-T channels.
No problems with Analog TV channel and Lifeview software (or other applications).

IMPORTANT:
I have the same problem (I think) with a NERO Burning suite application - Nerovision Express (a DV camcorder to DVD video clip software, like MS moviemaker).
In the preview window, playing a DV video(uncompressed), I have stuttering problem and CPU to 100%.
Playing with the same software a MPEG2 encoded video NO PROBLEMS !!!

Playing the DV Video with Windows Media Player I have no problems.

It seems a bandwith congestion problem when managing a big video data flow (uncompressed). May be that some video overlay functions call, in that situations can cause CPU to go at 100%. Other functions instead could works better (as WMPlayer).

Bye

I don't have 100% cpu when my stutter is there, but it's solved with the latest tvengine for me.

Analog TV stuttering problem

I tried almost all...
I still have the stuttering problem on ANALOG TV only (DVB-T is OK)

My flyDVB Trio hasn't hardware encoder.
Is't possible that MP starts encoding of Analog TV even if timeshifting or recording is disabled ?
I have a P4 2.4Ghz ... not too much to encode the video

If True ... this could explain the stuttering problem:
not enough CPU power to encode and show Live TV at the same time ....

Please, developers ... help FlyDVB trio users !!!
