Hello I have a basic install with OTA-HD on a 2250 plus using the Colossus extra info I have all working including Live TV on the local server. Both OTA and cable STB work locally.
But the issue is on any client, Live TV from any source is only a blank screen with no sound.
I am selecting client install on setup.
I can see videos from shares.
I have tried all codecs From AVIVO to snapstream and all in between.
It says it's connected and I see 100% level, only see black screen no sound on all client install on local network.
This is the same on any client on the local network.

Help.

I do hope this is up to standards for a report, thanks in advance.

    Hi thirdoff

Although you've set up your video codecs, it really doesn't look like you've set up your TV codecs. There are separate tabs for video and TV codecs. Aside from that, it would be helpful to have your TV Server logs...

    Thank you.
I have switched all codecs in video AND TV with reboots, in more than one PC. I double checked and tested by switching TV codec, rebooting then testing clients, it's still blank. BTW the server works with every codec I have listed and the same codec and with same config as one of the clients.

The last logs in the OP was from the client, yes.
    Here are the server logs.

    Hi again

I can confirm that you've set the codecs *on the server*, but the settings in your MediaPortal settings on the client are clearly blank:

0

no

no

The part that I have highlighted should have attempts to add codecs, but they're missing.

At the risk of stating the obvious: you configure codec settings for each client individually. MediaPortal settings on the server have no effect on any of the clients...

I have set the codecs on the client. I understand that the TV codec settings are not in the logs.

The client logs now look like this for me:

Everything works on the local server. Channel change on client to STB works, all other aspects tested on client and they work. Client works with the exception of my posted issue. The screen on client Live TV is still black and no sound. Thank you for any feedback.

I tested streaming on the client with VLC and it works too, so I am scratching my head... any Mediaportal veterans able to point me in the right direction?

We reinstalled EVERYTHING on server and still same issue. Tested on 3 different client PCs yet all black screen no sound, VLC will stream. MediaPortal will not.

I have all the latest card drivers

SAF 6 unlocked... I am not sure what this is or why I need it. I did a search and I only find several requests for it but not an explaination of what it is.
