LiveTV was playing fine all evening, when it suddenly went to a black screen and the audio stopped. MP's GUI was still working fine as I could escape back to the EPG, etc.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of this bug but that was my first thought at the time. I think I checked and ruled that out at the time though. There were a few unwanted scheduled recordings that started quite some time before the problem occured that I manually stopped/cancelled, but I don't think they would have been relevant at the time of the problem.

I seem to recall it happened shortly before midnight. The logs seem to show that I started watching something around 23:30 and it was stopped around 23:59.

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
