Loading a specific ffdshow profile (1 Viewer)

Today I use ffdshow for postprocessing everything from Live TV to movies in Mediaportal, but it sure would be useful if it was possible to select different settings in ffdshow for Live TV, DVD etc. It is possible in ffdshow to create different profiles for different kinds of video sources, but I cant find any way of letting ffdshow know which profile to use when using it for raw video processing only.

Does anyone know if this is possbile?
