Logitech Harmony (1 Viewer)

Hi

I have a Logitech Harmony 555 remote and want to be able to do the following if they are possible.

Create an additional button called 'Restart Mediaportal' which will close and then reopen media portal

Create an additional button called 'Restart PC' which will restart the computer


I am running TV3 in single seat and it is mostly used by my wife and child while I am at work and ocssasionally the Tv gets stuck, I want a quick solution for them as I recently found my wifes way of fixing it was to cold power off the pc and restart it


Is this possible and which plugin do I need to achieve this

Well I kinda got what I wanted, here's where I am so far..

I created 2 additional buttons in the harmony software and mapped them to 2 buttons I do not use (Myradio and Aspect), called one 'Restart MP' and the other called 'Reboot PC'

Then I installed the IR Server suite and ran the IR Server, In MediaPortal config under the plugins I mapped those buttons (Myradio and Aspect), one to reboot the PC and the other to a macro I also made in the plugin which did the following.

1 close MP
2 pause 1000 milliseconds
3 restart MP

The macro did not work as I suspect after the first action when MP is closed it cannot then handle the rest.

So I renamed my 'Restart MP' button to just 'Close MP' and press the guide or home button to restart it which will do for now.
