Hello,
I have got my little project working now and I am looking for people to help me test it and maybe create a nice installer.
I have created a small Windows Service which is able to react on WebService requests (over http) and sends commands to the Sharp TV via the RS232 interface.
Supported commands are
- power on/off
- switching between A/V input (HDMI1-4, ...)
- switching between DTV channels
- set Volume
- get Volume
- get the currently selected channel

Beware:
1. This is not finished, so expect ugly code, complicated, manual installation procedure and tons of bugs - and obviously very limited documentation
2. You need to have .NET Framework 4.0 installed
3. It only works with Sharp TV's at the moment (I have only implemented their command set and tested the code there)
