Looking for the author of File Explorer Plugin (1 Viewer)

Hi,

on 8.August.2006 a guy called Andreas Groß (Andi) uploaded this Plugin
called File Explorer

It's a very nice and usefull Plugin.

I would like to ge in contact with the author.
The Plugin is called beta, though it's quite functional already.
Would like to know if the author is still supporting this Plugin?

I know that he left, didn't know that he turned to linux, i think his last statements where negative. "I'll be back again i 2 weeks" or so. another user also wrote the he will come back a 'official statement' in forums were not bad, but it is the past over a year ago. And he did a great work.

To you question: i thought that he developed MyExplorer, is it the same like FileExplorer or are these two different plugins?

My last information I got was that he is now using linux and VDR and can't therefore support any windows based programs and no support for myExplorer, too.

But he would like to see someone else to keep on working his plugins.
egonspengleruk reworked myBurner Plugin, and tried to enable DVD-burning.
But it seems he got into some troubles and he never finished?

File Explorer is a bit different. And has some more features.
Especially the skin is different. You got two navigation windows, like Norton commander.
You can i.e. just select your destination folder in the one folder and the file you would like to copy in the next window and say "copy".

right now I'm using it very often to copy from an external HDD or photos from my SDCard to my pc.

Hey Ralph,

I wouldnt say trouble....more like issues supporting other users systems Im still around....just got added to the dev team yesterday.
MyBurner works fine for me (which is a good thing as im burning DVD's and a bad thing as trying to track down something going wrong on someone elses system isnt easy when it works fine on yours!)
