Hello, i am currently a Snapstream refugee and i am looking for something else. I have a full HTPC built and have been using thier product for better part of 2 years, but the lack of devopment on the BeyondMedia software has me disolutoned. If you look at what other people are running you will see that your setup is well within the requirements of MediaPortal.

You certainly wont need to rebuild anything and you should be able to install MediaPortal while your other software is still installed (but disabled). That way if MediaPortal is not to your liking you can also go back.

    Hope that helps,

I know "In General" i have more then enough. I was more woried about specific hardware Idiosyncracies/Incompatibilities being a "home grown" application. I had read somewhere that i would have to completly remove my beyond media to use my firefly remote, glad to hear that is not the case, its highly customized and i dont even remember what all ive had to do to it. so just disable autoload and give it a go eh??
