Lost 5.1 sound with any SVN build after 5-5-2006 (1 Viewer)

When I upgraded to svn builds after 5-5-2006 I loose 5.1 sound for DVD and AVI movies. What Gives? I tried uninstalling and doing a fresh install, but still no 5.1 after 5-5-2006.. Help I can't be stuck using old SVN's
