When I look at TV with MP the picture quality is bad.
It is the same on every channel, also when recording.
The sound is ok.

Anyone know what to to? :D

First: The PVR-500 come in two flavors - one with "good" TV-chips and one with not-so-good (if I remember correct)
Hope you got the good one. Try googling

You should state what codec you use, and how you connect to the TV-card (antenna, s-video, composite).

You should try higher bit-rate for the TV-cards. You can set this in setup.exe -> TV -> TV-card /EDIT -> Quality control

    or

    1: DL GraphEdit - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GraphEdit
2: Unzip and open graphedit (GraphEdt)
    (Cut 'n paste + edit)
Using GraphEdit, go to: Graph > Insert Filters > Multiplexer Devices > Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Encoder and Insert Filter. (Or simular!!!)
Then right click on the filter and select properties. Under the "Hauppauge ECP Video" tab change the Bitrate Average to "8000", the Peak to "12000"

It seems that de-interlacing is poor on you attached picture...

    Ok.
The tvcard is connetcted to analog cable.

    I used the MPV decoder.
Then I tried the Nvidia purevideo decoder and it was the same.
Uninstalled the Nvidia decoder and use the MPV decoder again and then it looks ok? :)
But the sound is a little delayed. Can this be fixed in the "direct show filter control"
Then after about 20 seconds the picture starts lag. Know what this is?

Where is the setup you are talking about? :)
