I am using mediaportal on a modified laptop as a digital picture frame in my kitchen.
Works fantastic- not using it for any media- just for slideshows, weather, calendar and recipies. Using MyVoice to control it and it's woking very well.
What I would like it to do is run MP features on a schedule. I'll use task manager to have the fram go into standby at night and come out in the morning. MP will then start up at 6:30am with my weather (doable with autostart), but then at 9:30am it should switch over to a slideshow by itself.
Is there a way to script events like this to happen a a set time - switching between myweather and a recursive slideshow and vice versa?
Would it be possible to do this via the command line and task manager?
Thanks
