Managing TV Library (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Im currently running through the media portal setup and my machine is now downloading all the data for my tv series. This is going OK, but I wondered what happens if I add new episodes into a directory ? will it automatically be picked up? Will the imagary and meta data etc. automatically be downloaded?

Also, what happens if I change the sub-directory structure from

\<series name>\<episode 1>
\<series name>\<episode 2>
etc.

TO

\<series name>\Series 1\<episode 1>
\<series name>\Series 1\<episode 2>

Will it update the changes automatically? will I have to go back into the config? how do I manage these changes?

If you have the below settings, then it should do most updates automatically, never enable the select series if only one found, that does not work correctly.



Changing the file source will cause a redownload of information.

indeed it does. very impressive. seemed to pick up the sub directory too.

Another niggle, I've got planet earth in 1080p mkv format, but its completely skipped over that one and doesn't even recognise it as a series ?
