In the new SVN version there is a new feature called the Manual Episode Importer. Basically the idea is for it to be an interface with which you can assign an episode to all your files you have that are not properly named and are failing the parse test. For example, if you have a file called "The Simpsons - Lisa Get's an A.avi" it would not parse because there is no season or episode number information in the filename. One option would obviously be to look up the episode, rename it and then rerun the import process. With the new screen you can instead manually specify the episode a given file should be linked to through the TVSeries config screen.
To get to the new functionality grab the latest SVN version of the plugin, then open up the TVSeries config screen and click the Import Settings tab. Then click the "Manual Episode Importer" list item on the left. A list should then pop up which should (after a hopefully brief search) display all files in your import paths that are not currently stored in the database. Use a right click or the on screen buttons to open up a dialog to specify what episode a file should be linked to.
If any of you get a chance to test this out, please let me know what you think. If you see any bugs, obviously let me know, but if you see anything that just seems kind of funny to you, and not very usable let me know on that as well. Any enhancement requests and constructive criticism is welcome too.
