gonzo, I've also used the export channels, edit xml file, import to workaround problems with the freq=-1 problem. You could try deleting all of the "unknown" channels and re-scanning, that has fixed some of my scan problems in the past. But then again if your system is up and working sometimes the best option is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". another comment, the MePo ATSC scanning seems less robust than using the native HDHR SW. I've also had scanning problems if I have somewhat marginal signals
