Manually editing episode number? (1 Viewer)

Is there anyway to edit the episode numbers of TV series episodes? I'm not finding any field in the "Details" tab of the MP-TV Series Configuration tool - only "DVD Episode Number" which doesn't help with the way I'm sorting. After it scrubs details from thetvdb.com, is the episode number hard locked? Recently, they've been splitting up their cartoon series episodes into individual episodes instead of combined eps which doesn't mesh with the way I've ripped my episodes.

It isn't possible, like I said. It would require manually splitting many hundreds of files.

Here is how my videos have been ripped, for example:

    The Ren & Stimpy Show - 1x01 - Stimpy's Big Day ~ The Big Shot.avi
    The Ren & Stimpy Show - 1x02 - Robin Hoek ~ Nurse Stimpy.avi

This is how all the cartoons used to be sorted - two parts per episode. For some reason thetvdb.com has gone over almost every cartoon series and split them up into the individual part, so that they would need to be renamed to this (and require every episode to be re-ripped or manually split):

    The Ren & Stimpy Show - 1x01 - Stimpy's Big Day ~ The Big Shot.avi
    The Ren & Stimpy Show - 1x02 - The Big Shot.avi
    The Ren & Stimpy Show - 1x03 - Robin Hoek.avi
    The Ren & Stimpy Show - 1x04 - Nurse Stimpy.avi

It'd be far less hassle to manually edit the episodes and then tell thetvdb.com not to automatically update and replace the edited data.

    Rename the files into:

    The Ren & Stimpy Show - 1x01+02 - Stimpy's Big Day ~ The Big Shot.avi
    The Ren & Stimpy Show - 1x03+04 - Robin Hoek ~ Nurse Stimpy.avi

    And your problems are solved.
