Mapping keys to open a plugin (1 Viewer)

I have tried searching but I can't find an answer to my problem, I want to be able to go directly to a plugin/window when I press a key on my keyboard, e.g. when I hit 'e' I get taken directly to the Moving Pictures window, when I hit 'd' I go to TV Guide etc..

Anyone able to help? I have tried the keyboardinputplugin but it doesn't work on my system

I think I read somewhere that this isn't possible

This is possible, use the shortcut'er plugin. The link is in my signiture.
You need the target window ID#, look in the .xml file at the top to get the number.

eg. For tvguide, find mytvgudie.xml and look at the top of the file for the ID#, which in this case is 600

Thank, I previously tried shortcut'er and couldn't get it to respond to key hits.
I'll try again and see what it does

I reinstalled the plugin but I get no response from my keyboard.
