Hi all,
I need to control OS Master Vol from remote... (win7), in the generic settings - volume everything is grayed out (win7)
as far as I understood there is a patch available for MP 1.2.2 ?
From where can I download it (sorry but I won't be able to compile it, I'm just a final-user....:) )

On another post I read to run MP in compatibility mode with XP SP3, will this solve it?

If not would the Volume Control Extention solve the problem?

Thanks a lot
P.S. if you need logs, screenshots etc just let me know

    This is working for all of you? mh.. :unsure:

    I did copy this 2 files over the existing one and be able to change in the config to master volume. but unfortunately it is not working for dd, dts, only for stereo.

    i remember on a old install i can change the volume for all formats, even if i set dd and dts to bitstreaming. anyone with an advice what i can try?

    win7x64
    mp1.2.3
    video: htpc->hdmi->onkyo receiver
    audio: htpc->optical->onkyo receiver

    Format of sound should not have any impact on that. What is your Default device ?
