I was wondering if it is currently possible, or may be possible in future versions, for moving pictures to provide movie match options from within MP itself without the need to go to the plugin configuration in the desktop environment.
Currently I find that if I add a new movie to my movie directory, occasionally the movie importer fails to find an agreeable match or multiple possible matches are pulled from the online databases. I dont want the importer to be 'reckless' with its match settings becasue occasionally this can be incorrect. To eliminate this I'm thinking of a two part solution which may/may not be possible but it is just an idea.
1) If any movie in my directory does not find an online match a dialog native within MediaPortal will ask me to either (i) specify an alternative title to search (ii) list possible matches that have been pulled from online databases which I could select (iii) allow me to manually name the title without returning to any online databases or (iv) ignore the file. This is in some ways similar to what TvSeries can do if it unsure about a correct match.
2) If a movie is incorrectly matched, a menu option could allow the user to refresh that database entry, per the conditions of 1 above.
Obviously the perferred format of refreshing the database is for it to run automatically, I only suggest this because somethimes it does not work correcly or fails to import the movie at all. In these cases I have to exit MP to run the plugin configuation with is not ideal for a standalone HTPC.
