    Hi

I just got HP MCE Compatible remote + blaster.

I pluged it into my computer, XP and it is instantly recognised as eHome Infrared receiver in device manager without installing any drivers. The remote works instantly as MCE compatible remote in Mediaportal which is great.

What do you think the best way is to remap the Vol +/- buttons to send an IR blasting command to my audio receiver? Has anyone actually done this?

I tried using HIP, but it didn't seem to recognise my remote.
IRSS recognises my remote, but debug client doesn't seem to detect it properly, it will maybe detect 1 in every 20 key presses.

    Regards

Doesn't seem to work. I think this compatible remote doesn't support that feature, as there is no IR receiver on the remote, it only has 1x led bulb. Also this remote only has 1x power button.

    FIXED

To use the blaster you must install LM Remote KeyMap. It seems HP MCE Blaster doesn't work with a lot of other programs.
